KlaiKan lets a family circle see where everyone is. This page says what we collect, why, who sees it and how long we keep it.
What we collect
- Precise location, with the time it was recorded
- Email address
- Display name
- Avatar photo (optional)
- Device model and operating system version
- Push token, so we can send notifications to your phone
- Location log and app diagnostics, only when you tap Send log to support
Why we collect it
To show you and your circle where everyone is, to send arrive and leave alerts and SOS messages, to keep your account secure and to answer support requests. We do not use it for anything else.
Who sees it
Your location, name and avatar are shared only with the members of the circles you belong to. Nobody outside your circles can see them. While you are paused, your name and avatar stay visible to your circle together with the "paused" state, and only your location is not shown.
How long we keep it
- Location history: 7 days
- Alerts: 30 days
- Support logs you send us: 30 days
- Account data: until you delete your account
Third parties
We never sell your data and never share it with anyone for their own purposes. These service providers handle limited data to run KlaiKan: Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) (push notifications, data-only), Cloudflare (secure network delivery for the website and the app's server connection), OpenFreeMap (map images; it receives your device's IP address and the map area on screen, but no account or location history). We show no ads and use no analytics SDKs.
Your rights
Under the Thai PDPA and, where it applies, the GDPR, you may ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, and you may withdraw consent at any time. You can delete your account in the app, or write to us.
